As a mom, Tishara knows it is important to find an activity that keeps you fit enough to keep up with your kids. For her, pole dancing is that activity. “I started Pole in 2016 as a way to avoid the gym. I used to dread working out, but with Pole, I’ll be at the studio for hours and forget I’m even breaking a sweat or burning calories. I love challenging myself to try cool new tricks, and there is always something more to learn.” Tishara started teaching in early 2018. She loves that pole dancing has given her a way to enjoy and celebrate the things her body can do, and that she can pass such a wonderful sense of achievement and self-love on to her students. “When I’m at The Pole Room, it’s such an infectious and positive atmosphere that I don’t want to leave. Eventually, they had no choice but to hire me as an instructor!”
The music that I love is best described as rhythmic, but y’know a bit of Whitney, a bit of Mariah, a bit of Cardi… all the musical legends!
